We are blessed to have had a mission team here last week. We had medical and optical clinics, as well as a dental hygienist.
More than 100 people were treated each day. Every evening we had a revival service at the church in the village. There were 5 people who accepted the Lord during the week. The Drama team also shared “Redeemer” with the crowd while they waited in the clinic.
Mission teams are fun and interesting, in that they bring many personalities and gifts within the group. It is exciting to see how they adjust to Third World country life style.
After a long hard day of work there is time for a dip in the ocean, as well as playing with the village children. It is fun to watch the village kids beat Americans at the game of SkipBo. The Americans taught them well.
