Finally Back September 2, 2009

It has been so long since we have written a blog. I always have good intentions to keep this going, then there I go again!! On my way, and forget. So sorry. I can’t even say, “I will do better” because I am not sure I will. Oh I want to. This reminds me when our son was quite young. I was disciplining him for something and asked the question “Are you going to do it again?” His answer was “I don’t know”. Of course the mother in my came to the top…”What do you mean, you don’t know?” His answer…”I don’t want to lie and say I won’t do it again, but I hope I don’t, I will try.” And that is where I am at this point.
This summer has been interesting. While Barb was in the States itinerating, meeting people and doing the stateside of the ministry, Patrick was home in Haiti working very hard. He was translating 2 weeks in a Teachers’ seminar, then a week of Pastors Conference and several days of Pastors retreat. Not to mention the 2 teams that were in Haiti. They assembled school desks and installed the sound system in the conference center.
The pastors conference was a great success. It was the 1st one, 50 pastors attended. The theme was pride and humility.
So you can see, although you haven’t had news on our web page, we have not been sitting and twittling our thumbs.
